This Guy is So Johnny Cute and endearing! And the illustrator, Leyendecker, was the GREATEST! First there was Charles Dana Gibson whose pen and ink illustrations were unrivalled. Leyendecker emulated Dana's style within Art Deco, then Rockwell proceeded from there. But Leyendecker! The way he captured folds within fabric and stylized the highlights upon cloth and flesh were Genius! Unrivalled!
this site is dedicated to the stuff i love, the stuff that makes me laugh, and the stuff that horrifies me. chances are, some way or another, the stuff i post here ends up into my drawings.
since the images i find have been available on the internet, i assume they are in the public domain. i try to link the source, but oftentimes stumble back upon the images in a folder saved to my desktop. if i'm missing a link, and you want it there, let me know and i will update the post.
